Reviewing and creating Graphic Novels
Open ended activities suit to a wide range of ages and reading levels.
Data gathering sheets designed to mirror the style of the graphic novel.
My students had so much fun with this topic. Following the activities really supported the children's knowledge and built their confidence to produce excellent graphic stories of their own. Students as young as 6 & 7 years old wrote and drew some amazingly tight and polished pieces. I have used this unit equally successfully with older students also.
