This is a fun creative project in which students can assess their learning of World Geography units using these example formats: utopia, action figure, iPad, & online shopping cart (example templates/student examples included!) My students had so much fun with this at the end of the year, but these ideas/templates could also be used to assess student learning at the end of each unit too!
For your World Geography “Final Exam,” create a detailed piece to highlight at least 6 units of World Geography (Roman Empire, Arabia, Africa, China, Japan, Medieval Europe, Renaissance Europe, & Mesoamerica) using one of these formats--utopia, action figure, iPad, or online shopping cart, such as eBay or Amazon.
As you create your piece, think of such features as location, geography, language, art, architecture, inventions/innovations, religion, government, trade/economy, & social structure.
After illustrating your piece (see templates), write a sentence or more explaining each of the features from your choice of 6 World Geography units. Explain why you chose each feature and how it relates or connects to each unit. Get creative!☺
