A fantastic, informative (and great looking!) PowerPoint Presentation and student project for introducing and reinforcing landforms, bodies of water, and other geographical features.
The 50+ slide PowerPoint Presentation contains color photographs of the different geographic features, allowing students to see real-life examples of each landform or body of water.
The project is a student created dictionary where students keep track of the definitions and create images for each of the features you are introducing.
Please Note: The dictionary contains approximately 20 geographic features which are NOT included in the PowerPoint. This is done deliberately as the project part of this resource is to have students, either independently or in groups, research these features and report out to their classmates.
A wonderful activating strategy, review, or project to use anytime throughout your geographic features unit!
The PowerPoint Presentation and dictionary can also be downloaded individually.
