Have your students use the same vocabulary words their general education peers are using to describe a location with geographic location icons. Students are given maps with geographic land features highlighted. Each page is a different continent so you can keep pages as communication boards or cut out and have students choose the correct icon as necessary. Contains mountain ranges, lakes, rivers, and seas for each continent.
Continents included: North America, South America, Africa, Europe, Asia. Also includes one page for Middle East geography.
These pages provide ways to help assess a student's understanding of classroom materials and help a student with disabilities have a chance of being able to communicate on topic to a general education peer.
Suggestion: print onto cardstock and laminate. Can put on flashcards and on a ring or into a binder with velcro as appropriate for the student.
