This document is an internet scavenger hunt that students complete by searching for the answers on the internet, in maps, or any other resources that they have. This scavenger hunt is unique and different than normal scavenger hunts because the answer to one question gives them a clue to answer for the next question. So students need to generally answer all the questions in sequential order. It makes them think a little bit more and adds a twist to a normal scavenger hunts.
This could be a great activity to familiarize students with general geography terms and get them used to using maps and the internet. There are a total of 15 questions and they are all related to world geography.
This is an activity that can be completed individually or in teams as well. It could be used as an introduction to geography, for substitute classes, or just to reiterate some general geography knowledge.
Normally I do these scavenger hunts for general internet searching and my students love them so I decided to do a specialized one specific to just geography based questions and I will plan on creating more of these to other disciplines as well.
I have included the document in a Word version as well as a PDF Version
