This project is meant to be a weekly (or however often you choose to do it!) project for your Geography or Sociology class that will continue throughout the semester. The project is intended to encourage student involvement in real world global issues that relate to the content covered in class. The connections they will form between textbook outcomes and world news will foster true understanding, critical thinking, and engagement! Includes Student handout with full rubric, Teacher instructions, sample journal entry, marking rubric, suggested websites (Canadian/American).
