I use bingo games as a review of the vocabulary of a unit. Students fill in their own bingo cards, so there is no need to create a bunch of different bingo cards. While playing students hear the definitions of the words over and over and will help each other match the correct word and definition. This is great for special education and LEP students who need further vocabulary help and repetition.
Directions - Teacher will copy a bingo card sheet for each student. Make one copy of teacher call cards (I use tag so I can reuse). Teacher will call out the definitions in random order. The answer is located in parenthesis on the call cards.
