This 3-page document helps students identify basic agricultural tendencies within the U.S.
1. Students are asked to come up with their own symbol for key agricultural products such as cattle, farming, sheep, cotton, etc.
2. Then they are asked to draw the symbols on a map of the United States. You can use the map provided or you can have your students work on a larger map if you can find/create one.
3. Students then answer questions to help interpret their map.
