Students will analyze how the geography affected life in the Fertile Crescent and how small farms became large civilized city-states. Students will learn how the people of Mesopotamia developed irrigation for a stable food supply. Includes a 3 page reading covering geography, food shortages in the hills, uncontrolled water supplies, attacks from neighbors and solutions.
