Description

Now available in both print and Google Drive formats. By completing this geometric transformations discovery worksheet, students will be able to describe using coordinates the effects of dilations on polygons. Students work independently, in pairs, or in small groups to complete two activities that will guide them to the patterns in coordinates for dilations centered at the origin. The final exploration demonstrates how to perform a dilation centered at a point other than the origin. Summary and extension worksheet included as follow-up assignment.

Included in this product:

-3 pages worksheets (available in Google Sheets)
