Geometric Mean in Right Triangles is for grades 8-12
Many students struggle with finding the geometric mean in a right triangle. They struggle with seeing the relationships between the similar right triangles formed by the altitude and the largest right triangle. These manipulatives allow students to not only see how the right triangles are really similar triangles, but they also help students to solve using the Geometric Mean.
*Printable double-sided manipulatives (so students can orient all three triangles in the same direction) and instructions on how to assemble them.
*Fourteen practice problems for students.
*The answer key to all fourteen questions.
