This activity is to help students organize two column proofs in Geometry. There are 8 two column proof mats where the students can organize the pieces on. Following the mats are the pieces. There are written in correct format and in order as the key. Each mat and pieces have a number in the upper right hand corner that show which pieces who with which mat. Students need to place the pieces in the correct order and the correct reason with each step.
When you print them out, I suggest lamenting the mats and pieces before you cut them. I also did each mat and corresponding pieces in different colors so that they could be easily separated (or in gallon sized zip lock bags).
If you have iPad, you can have the students take and submit a picture of their finished proof and upload it. You can also have them raise their hand and if it is correct, have them move onto another one.
**You can see that the proofs have varying levels of difficulty. This way you can provide students with a proof that matches their ability level. I also do this as a pair activity.
