This is one of the proofs that I show my students for the Pythagorean Theorem. It is a great proof for the more advanced students, especially the more creative ones who like hands-on puzzles. It works like a tangram. If students successfully solve the puzzle, they will be able to fit all pieces of the small and medium squares inside of the larger square. There are three different versions included. Although this is not the easiest Pythagorean Proof, it is a fun one to try with the students.
