- Zip

Description
This new Windows application is a useful tool for high school physics students, to gain problem solving experience. A total of 252 original and carefully selected problems in Geometrical Optics can be practiced by the students. The following is the list of topics covered and the number of problems in each topic:
Optics Terminology [ 36 problems ]
Reflection [ 10 ]
Index of Refraction [ 14 ]
Snell's Law [ 8 ]
Critical Angle [ 6 ]
Converging Lenses [ 58 ]
Diverging Lenses [ 24 ]
Concave Mirrors [ 48 ]
Convex Mirrors [ 22 ]
Magnification [ 26 ]
The students can take an unlimited number of tests in one topic at a time. The number of questions in each test is the same as the number of questions available in the topic selected. In this application, the questions are displayed in ascending order, according to their location in the data bank of 252 problems. The questions are multiple choice, and the choices are constantly scrambled. In this way, the correct answer to the same problem may be a different choice in different exams. After the students answer the last question, the computer will present the Answer Key. A data bank with all the problems in pdf format is provided, in order to know the specific location of every problem.
It takes just a few minutes to learn to use this Test Generator. Simply place the Zip file in any folder or subfolder you want. Right click the mouse and select Extract all the files. The subfolder Optics Data Bank Topic is created. From inside the subfolder, just select the file Start Test Generator, and the students are ready to begin practicing. It is that simple. If you have any questions, we will be happy to answer them as soon as possible. Again, this program is for computers using Windows 10 or newer.
