This is not your typical worksheet for finding area and perimeter. This requires students to find the area and perimeter of smaller figures that make up a large composite figures. Values that they solve for will be used to solve for other areas (and one shaded in area)
Shapes: Rectangle, circle, Right Triangle, trapezoid
Each shape has a "name" and at the end students will need to find the probability of landing on a girl/boy name.
You can have students work as partners or individually. It can even be bonus assignment. Encourage students to take their time, double check their answers, and show their work.
