Students love using technology to explore geometry concepts. In this Google Slide presentation, students will use technology to: draw points, lines, line segments, rays, angles (i.e., right, acute, obtuse), and parallel and perpendicular lines, classify quadrilaterals based on the presence or absence of parallel or perpendicular lines, sort quadrilaterals based on parallelism and perpendicularity, recognize right triangles as a category, and identify right triangles, sort triangles based on angle types, recognize a line of symmetry for a two-dimensional figure as a line across the figure such that the figure can be folded along the line into matching parts, identify line-symmetric figures and draw lines of symmetry, and generate a number or shape pattern that follows a given rule and determine a term that appears later in the sequence.
Students will follow along with prompts on the slides as they create images, draw lines, sort objects in tables, reflect on their understanding, and much, much more!
