Are your students getting bent out of shape trying to classify triangles? Do they need extra practice naming whether an triangle is isosceles, scalene, or equilateral? Can they easily determine if a triangle is acute, right, or obtuse? This bundle of task cards will help. You receive THREE double sets of cards with this purchase, 64 cards per double set, for a total of 192 triangle related task cards in all! Please note, this is a ZIP file that includes the three PDF files for the double sets of task cards.
Save BIG by buying the bundle! Right now, purchasing the bundle gets you all three sets for nearly 30 percent off!
Students practice naming triangles by their SIDE names only with the first double set of cards. The second set of files have students work on naming triangles by their ANGLE names. The third set asks students to use the given measurements (or measure on their own) to find BOTH the side and angle names for each triangle. Included in each PDF file are TWO sets of 32 task cards each, including 32 multiple choice cards and 32 cards with images or descriptions for which students provide the written answer.
Also included are answer sheets, answer keys, and 12 total BONUS worksheets for extra practice pages! Both the cards and the worksheets provide practice with triangles that have measurements given, and triangles that need to be measured using rulers / protractors.
Ideas for using these task cards:
1) Use in a center.
2) Use for small group instruction.
3) Use as assessment for checking student's ability to move on to the next skill.
4) Set out for use by those who finish their work early.
5) Use for partner work. Students choose a card and their partner works the problem out on a white board or scrap paper. Check each others answers.
