This product gives step-by-step written and visual instructions on how to construct a line perpendicular to a segment through a given point not on the line (the construction used to create the altitude of a triangle), offering several segments for students to practice with on the next page. Students are then able to apply the construction on two triangles to find the orthocenter of each triangle.
The four-page document is scaled to half pages, 5.5x8.5 (2 pages total) in PDF format and are the ideal size for cutting down the middle and placing in an interactive notebook or can be printed front-back and hole punched for binder use.
