Product Description
An all around constructions project with a "magical" ending! Students receive an instruction sheet, rubric and 5 identical triangles (you will need to copy 5 pages of the triangle, one-sided). There are 5 parts to this project - each part gets constructed on it's own triangle. At the end, students use the 5th triangle and literally TRACE points from their other 4 parts. If all was done correctly, these points will lie on the 9 Point Circle! It is a check for students to see if they did their other 4 parts of the project correctly, not to mention it's magical!

This project can take 2 days if you teach a unit on points of concurrency first, or can take 4-5 days if used as an investigation or done after teaching basic constructions. To do this project, students simply must know how to construct the 3 basic constructions with a compass and straightedge below:
- Perpendicular Bisectors
- Angle Bisectors
- A perpendicular from a point to a line

The project will introduce, define, and have students construct 3 of each segment:
- Perpendicular Bisectors
- Angle Bisectors
- Altitudes
- Medians

The project will introduce, define and have students construct the following Points of Concurrency:
- Circumcenter
- Incenter
- Orthocenter
- Centroid
