Included in this packet are three assessments: an initial, final, and modified final. All of these assessments focus on a cumulative review of geometry, including: area and perimeter; lines, congruency, and similarity; circles, angles, and figures; solid figures, nets, and rotational symmetry). A study guide for your students is also included.
The initial assessment should be administered on the first day of instruction in order to establish a baseline.
The final assessment should be administered on the last day of instruction in order to put a grade in your grade book. :)
The modified final assessment should be administered on the last day of instruction to your struggling students, so that you can put a fair grade in your grade book for them. The questions are as difficult as the ones on the regular final assessment, but there are fewer of them so that these students can demonstrate their competency without feeling overwhelmed.
Answer keys are also, of course, included.
