Are you looking to cover most of the geometry standards for grades 3, 4, and 5? This digital notebook geometry bundle consists of SIX separate interactive digital notebooks for Google Slides®. With this bundle, your students will practice

    • plane figures (lines, line segments, rays, and points)
    • types of lines (parallel, perpendicular, and intersecting)
    • types of angles (right angles, acute angles, and obtuse angles).
    • polygons (triangle, quadrilateral, pentagon, hexagon, octagon, decagon)
    • quadrilaterals (parallelogram, rectangle, square, rhombus, kite, trapezoid)
    • types of triangles (equilateral, isosceles, scalene, right, acute, obtuse).

Please see each individual resource preview for a complete list of tasks for each digital notebook.

Using geometry vocabulary is necessary for being able to describe two-dimensional shapes as well as to sort and classify them by attributes. Students need exposure and effective practice to understand this sometimes overwhelming vocabulary. These Google Slides® resources provide practice with quadrilaterals, triangles, polygons, plane figures, types of lines, and types of angles.

Understand that shapes in different categories (e.g., rhombuses, rectangles, and others) may share attributes (e.g., having four sides), and that the shared attributes can define a larger category (e.g., quadrilaterals). Recognize rhombuses, rectangles, and squares as examples of quadrilaterals, and draw examples of quadrilaterals that do not belong to any of these subcategories.
