Geometry Discovery Activity - Pascal's Triangle and Points around the Circle
This is a discovery activity that will let your student learn by themselves the relationship of points around the circle and Pascal's Triangle. With this activity student will learn that points around the circle form different shapes and as the number of points increases the region formed also increases and it has a relationship in Pascal's Triangle.
This activity requires students to draw chords with the given points around and circle, think critically about the pattern and relationship of it with Pascal's Triangle and discover the beauty of mathematics.
A very nice activity in your math class to let student realize that Pascal Triangle is important and very useful not only in algebra but as well in Geometry in circle.
It would be nice to let your students work in pairs.
I hope this will help in your math class :)
