This sorting/matching activity can be used as a practice, review, or assessment of geometry formulas. The cards should be printed, cut out, and then sorted into groups with the definition, the formula, and the visual example (picture).
The formulas included on here are:
*circumference and area of a circle when both the radius and diameter are given
*area of a parallelogram
*area of a triangle
*area of a trapezoid
This can be a great individual or cooperative group activity, and is also good for ELA students to practice their vocabulary by pairing visuals with the formulas.
