This activity is meant to be a culminating activity after studying triangles, quadrilaterals and other polygons. Students will need to apply their knowledge of the characteristics of each shape as they write clues and identify "guilty" shapes from a line-up of possibilities. Students can also apply some word-play skills as they make up their clues!
The completed projects make a fun, interactive bulletin board. I keep my display up for Open House so parents can try to solve the mysteries as well! :)
