Sad Circle is one of my favorite math games!
This game is a fun twist on the classic card game Old Maid. Students learn the name of each shape, number of sides, number of corners (vertices), and its image from a triangle to a decagon. The objective is to not be the one stuck holding the Sad Circle.
You can sdapt the game to fit your vocabulary needs. I have included the option of using corners or vertices, tetragon or quadrilateral, and nonagon or enneagon.
This game can also be modified to meet your students needs. You can choose to expose them to as many or as few polygons.
