Motivate your students with these NO-PREP geometry games! Included are 10 fun and differentiated 'BUMP' games to help students practice identifying and classifying three-dimensional shapes. These games are perfect for small groups and centers, or can even be used as an informal assessment tool.

When using these games, students will practice matching the names of 3D shapes to images, real-world images, nets, and to specific characteristics (number of faces, edges, and vertices).

Included with this 3D Shapes Bump Games Pack:

  • Instructions for play
  • 10 games
  • Answer keys

3D shapes covered: Cube, Rectangular Prism, Rectangular Pyramid, Triangular Prism, Triangular Pyramid, Cone, Cylinder, Sphere

These games are so simple to use, and take a minimal amount of prep. Simply print out the game sheet and grab a dice, 2 game pieces, and 40 counters, and you'll be ready to go!

To play, students roll the dice to move their piece on the game board track. After rolling, they have to read the description/look at the image of the space they landed on and find the matching space in the center of the game board (for example, in one game you may land on an image of a rectangular prism and you have to find its name in the center). Once students find the match, they cover it with their counter. Students have to get all of their counters onto the center game board spaces without getting "bumped" off by the other player.
