Students will enter equations into the "y=" menu of the graphing calculator, follow step-by-step instructions, and graph parallel and perpendicular lines, answer analytical questions, and graph square root equations representing circles. This activity also includes an application to the Sun's rays and Earth, involving the speed of light and distance from the Sun to the Earth. There is also a QR code that invites students to explore more at a NASA website. Grading rubric is included
