This set of guided notes is a great introduction to segments and the segment addition postulate. The front side stresses the importance of notation and being able to solve segment addition problems using some algebra. The back allows you to present the difference between equal and congruent segments and the notation that goes with them. There is also an introduction to geometric constructions and a chance to practice copying segments and adding those segments together using only a compass and straightedge.
The answers are included!
