This is a cut and paste activity that can be used in a variety of ways. I used it with my seventh grade math students as a review of basic geometry terms before starting our unit on two-dimensional geometry. The activity includes 12 geometry terms, 12 illustrations, and 12 definitions that have all been jumbled up. Students have to cut out all 36 pieces and paste them in the provided table so that each term is correctly matched with an illustration and definition.
-The activity is saved as a PDF file so that it can be printed and distributed to students.
-It can be used multiple ways such as classroom practice, homework, a partner or small group activity, or as a review activity.
-The answer key is provided.
-Terms included in the activity: acute angle, congruent line segments, line, line segment, obtuse angle, parallel lines, perpendicular lines, plane, point, ray, right angle, straight angle
