Do you wish your Geometry students had a compass at home to practice constructions? I did too, so I created this template for a make-and-take compass. Now you can teach constructions at school and have students make, take, and keep their own cardstock compass for homework practice.
These work very similarly to safety compasses, except that the rotation is accomplished in a slow little by little move with the compass...something that is a small trade for being able to give compasses to entire classes without fear of breakage and loss.
Also perfect for classrooms with very little funds, and for mission trips for teachers to 3rd world countries looking for a way to provide resources on a limited budget.
These only require cardstock, scotch tape, and scissors to make.
