1. In this activity, students will cut strips of paper and assemble them into two-column proofs. The first two proofs are algebraic proofs, the third proof uses the segment addition postulate, and the fourth proof uses the definition of congruence. A "Hints Sheet" is included for struggling students.

A "Hints Sheet" is given to help struggling students. This activity could be used as an alternative assessment, a partner activity, o

There are three proofs that deal with parallel lines with transversals and parallel and perpendicular lines. The theorems are given with theorem names or as the theorems written out, depending on your prefe

There are three proofs that use triangle congruence postulates, but do not include CPCTC (congruent parts of congruent triangles are congruent). Bundle Description
These READY TO PRINT activities get students to actively discuss GEOMETRY PROOFS, without being afraid of making a mistake. These are perfect for PRACTICE or REVIEW!

This is a bundle of my five proofs cut-out activities. Included are:

1) Introductory Geometry Proofs Cut-Out Activity
2) Parallel Lines Proofs Cut-Out Activity
3) Parallel and Perpendicular Lines Proofs Cut-Out Activity
4) Triangle Congruence and CPCTC Proofs Cut-Out Activity
5) Triangle Congruence Proofs Cut-Out Activity

In these activities students will cut strips of paper and assemble them into two-column proofs. These activities could be used as an alternative assessment, a partner activity, or as a review before a test. I copy the student's sheet on colored paper and let them hang their finished product in the classroom.

These activities are part of my Geometry Activity Bundle: First Semester
