This activity is designed for a group of 4 students to work together to build right triangles using grid paper. A full set of directions is included.
Once students build the right triangles and the squares on each side, they collect data and look for the conclusion of the Pythagorean Theorem.
Additional problems are included where students will be given two of the three sides, or the area of some of the squares and they must determine the other missing information.
An answer key is included.
