Product Description
Kid Tested and Approved!

Do you want an engaging activity to practice 2D shapes, angles and lines? My students loved playing this scavenger hunt! The object of the game is to figure out the secret phrase by solving problems and hunting for letters to the phrase.

The file contains a clickable table of contents, directions for set up, rules and suggestions. The problem cards have color pictures but can be printed black and white. The answer cards are in black and white to save on color ink.

Do you use QR codes in your classroom? I have also included them as a choice to use for answer cards.

Please check out the preview for all that is included and don't hesitate to ask me questions before purchasing.

Covers the following Common Core Standard:
CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.3.G.A.1
Understand that shapes in different categories (e.g., rhombuses, rectangles, and others) may share attributes (e.g., having four sides), and that the shared attributes can define a larger category (e.g., quadrilaterals). Recognize rhombuses, rectangles, and squares as examples of quadrilaterals, and draw examples of quadrilaterals that do not belong to any of these subcategories.

In Florida it covers this standard:

3. G.1.1 Understand that shapes in different categories (e.g., rhombuses, rectangles, and others) may share attributes (e.g., having four sides), and that the shared attributes can define a larger
category (e.g., quadrilaterals). Recognize rhombuses, rectangles, and squares as examples of quadrilaterals, and draw examples of quadrilaterals that do not belong to any of these subcategories.
