This product covers the 4th grade common core standards 4.G.1 & 4.G.2, although it would be useful to 3rd or 5th grade also. This product is an interactive lesson that allows students to use digital cameras to go around the school and/or classroom to find real-life examples of different geometric terms. I used it also in connection with Google Apps accounts that my students have access to. After small groups of students worked together to snap pics of various examples of geometry around the school, I uploaded all pics and shared them via Google Drive with all of my class. This way even if some groups may not have had time to find all of the pics that they needed, they had access to everyone's photos. After I shared the pics with my class, they then had to use their Google Drive to create a Google presentation/slideshow as the graded aspect of the project. This product includes the instruction guide for students and a rubric for the teacher to use for grading.
