★ ★ ★ How It Works ★ ★ ★
This packet is very well organized.
You have the option to print a full-color version of the packet, or a black and white version.
You can use the full-color version of the materials in a math center. Simply cut out the colorful shapes and laminate them so that you and your students can reuse them year after year.
Laminate the attribute mats, too. Students use the mats to sort the different shapes by the six attributes.
Have the students use one attribute mat at a time to investigate the features of different triangles and quadrilaterals.
Students can track their investigations using the worksheet included in the packet. This way, they can see what attributes the different shapes might have in common.
I hope this math set helps your students achieve all of the 4th grade geometry standards!
