Midsegments, Medians, Perpendicular Bisectors, Angle Bisectors, and Altitudes! Oh my, so many different segments. Help introduce or reinforce these important concepts to your Geometry students with this easy reference flip book. Students will appreciate your effort. Let them use the book during practice work or even perhaps during the test.
Includes theorems, explanations, several pictures for reference, and even a few algebraic examples.
This book is meant to be contructed and completed with the students. Several of the theorems and definitions have blanks to fill in. There are only a few algebra questions, but they need to be completed by the students either together or on their own.
I always guide my students in folding and stapling the book and then in filling out and labeling the pages.
Takes about 30 minutes to make and fill out, depending on how long you talk about each page. This makes a perfect reference tool to make with students the day before the test or quiz on special segments of triangles. Also great for helping English Language Learners and small group tutoring or homeschool.
