Product Description
Nothing will help your students learn to quickly solve special triangles faster than flash cards. They can be used for tutoring, cooperative learning, as task cards, scoot cards, and in learning centers. But the best way is to make enough sets so students can pair up and "flash" each other.

36 FLASH CARDS:
Included are three pages of 45°-45°-90° triangles and three pages of 30°-60°-90° triangles and with 6 large cards per page, you get a total of 36 special triangle cards. The answers pages are formatted to print perfectly front to back.

But wait, there's more. There are small asterisks in the corner of each card. The single asterisk cards are the easiest to solve, the double asterisks cards are slightly more difficult, and the three asterisks cards are the most difficult that students should be expected to do without paper. You may want to have your students begin with all 45°-45°-90° cards. And you may even ask them to begin with only the one asterisk cards and master those before adding in the two asterisk cards, and finally the three asterisk cards. You may want to give the 30°-60°-90° on a different day or as a separate pile of cards, and again direct students to begin with the easiest level and not to add in the next level of cards until they are comfortable with the easiest ones. Finally, you might ask students to mix all the cards for a big review.

*Note: All of the cards are solved using factoring techniques rather than paper and pencil rationalizing. You may need to demonstrate for students how to use mental math to divide radicals through factoring techniques.
