I created these because my students needed practice with identifying these Geometry terms by utilizing pictures.
The problem was, they only recognized the figures when presented in one particular direction or format, but could not generalize.
My students love task cards, so I created this specifically to allow them to work with a familiar resource – and I had students at different levels of learning – so I created task cards where students had to write the name of the figure, and a set where they could pick the name from a multiple choice format. That allows a Set A and a Set B, or you can use the cards interchangeably. This set comes with 2 Answer Keys for this reason, but 1 Recording Sheet.
There are 40 task cards total, 20 of each format (multiple choice or name the figure) - so 20 unique figures.
