This "Types of Angles" PowerPoint has been designed as a high quality question and answer program. There are 10 question screens for the students to answer. It may be used on an electronic board with the whole class, or on individual computers, or a network.
This program has been highly successful in developing long term learning of the names of angles. It has been used by very many students in classrooms, computer rooms, individual computers or as part of individual student tuition of students, whose Math achievement levels are below expectations.
Student learning is enhanced by requiring the student to begin the program again when errors are made. Using a stopwatch to improve the speed of answering the questions also improves long term learning. Recording the times taken to complete the program adds motivation to improve speed and accuracy.
Periodic revision of this program also enhances long term learning.
A worksheet called "Types of Angles" is available in my store. This worksheet may be used as a "before and after" test of student learning, in conjunction with this program.
