If you're looking for ways to make more meaningful connections to math in the real world, this is the activity for you! Students will embark upon a day as a scuba diver while practicing this difficult math concept at the same time. Geometry can be difficult for third graders and this activity is great practice!
⭐ What is This? ⭐
Help your students become scuba divers in your classroom! Students complete 10 geometry challenges that are real-world related.
Print out all 10 color posters and all 10 aligned challenges. Distribute them around your room. Give each child a recording sheet. Explain to students that they will become underwater explorers and will need to complete all challenges. They have to find all the challenges you've left around the classroom and find the answers to each one. They use the recording sheet to mark off each challenge as they go.
