Help your students practice using the Segment and Angle Addition Postulates, the Vertical Angle Theorem, and the Definitions of Midpoint and Supplementary and Complementary Angles. This activity will have students up and moving as they actively "work the room" to discuss and answer questions about finding values with segments and adjacent and vertical angles. Note: Most of the problems require simple algebra.
Simply print the slides on brightly colored paper and hang them around the room. Give students a copy of the student response page, and allow them time to get up, get talking, and get working on these straight-forward problems. By the time students are done with each station, they will be more confident about solving these problems and justifying their reasoning.
Great alternative to "another worksheet". Students love to get up and move as they learn. Great as a common core activity and great for cooperative learning. Could also be used as review before the test or as task cards for learning centers or tutoring.
