This is a super fun Geometry Vocabulary Heads Up Game! Students can work with partners or small groups and take turns holding up a card to their forehead with a Geometry word and picture. The other student or students must give clues to the student holding the card so that he or she can guess the vocabulary word on the card.
Differentiated Cards are also included! For your students who need an extra challenge, there is an additional set of cards with words at the bottom that students cannot say to make them think a little bit more when describing the word to their classmate! For example, if a student is describing “pentagon” he or she would have to say “a polygon that has one more side than a quadrilateral,” rather than “has five sides.”
The vocabulary words included are: Symmetry, Obtuse Triangle, Acute Triangle, Equilateral Triangle, Right Triangle, Parallel Lines, Perpendicular Lines, Congruent, Kite, Quadrilateral, Trapezoid, Square, Rectangle, Pentagon, Hexagon, Heptagon, Octagon, Nonagon, Decagon
My students loved this and got so into it! :)
