Three- dimensional figures enables students to understand and compute the volumes and surface areas of common items. This lesson requires identifying and measuring a figure's length, width, height, radius, and/or perimeter. After the measuring in centimeters, the students have to compute the base area, volume, and surface area.
Something different was added....Cross Section in 3-Ways. It requires students to vertically, horizontally, or diagonally slice sponge, foam or clay-like 3-D figures. Of course, drawings or models have to be provided.
