Hello Math Teachers! These 18 questions focus on solving real-world and mathematical problems involving volume of cylinders. Students use the volume of a cylinder formula to find the volume of cylinders given a figure’s radius or diameter and the height. Some questions have the cylinder with different orientations. Answers are in decimal form and a couple in terms of pi. There are a few questions where students are given volume and the radius and they find the height. I use these questions with my 8th grade Pre-Algebra classes. Questions come in two formats; as a PDF and as an ExamView Bank BNK. Both formats are the same questions.
Can be used as a worksheet for an assignment, class work, homework or even as an assessment like a quiz.
Compatible with ExamView Test maker software. Drag this file into the ExamView test bank folder in your program files. Then you will have these questions available to use with your other test banks to create tests, worksheets, etc. ExamView Banks are great for use with technology like CPS (Classroom Performance System) einstruction clickers. I use clickers in my classroom class every day. ExamView Banks are Smart Response, Blackboard, WebCT, Interactive Whiteboard (Mimio Board or SmartBoard) and ANGEL compatible. I love any type of classroom response systems. Ideal for Plickers too. This bank was created in ExamView 7.
