Introductory to lesson sample:
The teacher will begin by welcoming the students into the classroom and telling them that today they will be talking about the final scene in Pygmalion and wrapping up some final thoughts of the play. To start the lesson, the students will be asked to complete a worksheet in which they create “their perfect man.” They will have to consider such qualities as physical appearance, personality traits, education, and money. Afterwards, the students will be asked to share what they believe their perfect man to be.
The Introduction (which is included) seeks to demonstrate how the main character in Pygmalion Higgins, attempts to mold Eliza into his idea of what a lady is, and that perception is subjective.
