This is an exciting way to review and compare and contrast the foreign policies of both George Washington and James Monroe!
This worksheet includes a do now activity, two map activities, and two documents as well as an exit ticket!
Students will review map skills about the eastern and western hemisphere. In addition, students will analyze a political cartoon of James Monroe and draw inferences. Next, students will complete a compare and contrast document reading and decide whether or not the foreign policies of Washington and Monroe are similar or different. Students can work in groups or independently.
Finally, there is an extension document that represents an American Foreign policy timeline and students need to make a prediction to decide how American Foreign policy has changed and the importance.
