Are you studying Georgia? In this scrapbook, students learn a range of information about Georgia: symbols, regions, development, key people, and key features of Georgia. Don't worry, all of the directions are spelled out from what the cover should look like to what should be on each of the 20 pages. All you need to do is make copies, distribute, and assign a due date. This project calls for reasearch, but is fun for the kids, and they will learn a lot from it. You can opt to take students to the media center, or to have them complete it out of class, or a little bit of both. This can also be used for Georgia Day, where each of four classes each complete a section for the scrapbook, and then bring it all together. So many ideas, so easy to use.
