Product Description
This PowerPoint Preview covers the 8th grade Georgia standard (2017 updated) on Juvenile Justice. It explores the difference in unruly and delinquent behaviors and why unruly behaviors are also called status offenses. On the full product, one slide allows students to discuss how their awareness and consequences change as they mature. The slides look at when juveniles get different rights and how delinquent behaviors may cross into being charged as adults. The seven deadly sins have two slides, one a "lite" version that still meets the standard and one that lists the actually "sins" if you want the discussion to go further. A slide also takes the juvenile process from intake through appeal. Finally, there are 8 scenarios that let students choose between unruly and delinquent behaviors; juvenile and adult delinquent behaviors.
