Product Description
Use these “cards” to review or teach German word order differences between sentences and questions.

In German, verb placement is key. When you ask a question, you use inverted word order. Some sentences/questions include a time/place element or both.

This production includes:
16 statements/questions - black and white
16 statements/questions - color

Copy each black and white page on a different color paper or separate sets of cards by each page. You can also print out the colored sets instead, if you have a color printer. For sturdier cards print on card stock. Cut out the cards around each boarder (leave a margin). Each card will contain a word or phrase. Watch for capitalization and punctuation in each set. They help.

Students can review in pairs or groups. Time them for a competition!
