This three-page handout offers an explanation of German adjective endings and how they are affected by each of the four cases. For each case, there is a chart that shows the endings, plus examples and practice items. All of the examples have to do with Harry Potter. Originally I had also included two excerpts from the first chapter of Book I of Harry Potter that included a description of Dudley and one of Harry Potter. I had glossed new words and tossed out the adjective endings, so students could fill them in. But since it's copyrighted material, I took it out. That being said, students really had fun with seeing Harry Potter in German and they didn't even notice they were working on something hard!
